What are cookies?

Cookies are little bits of text your browser stores to keep track of something on a website. While you have that cookie, the website will remember you, or something about you. They are mainly used to know what pages you've visited, whether you are logged in, any language preferences, or other bits and pieces to help you get the best experience out of a website.

What cookies are used on my site?

I give you one solitary cookie so that I can satisfy my own ego by knowing how many people come to my site. That's it. The cookie's only purpose is to know if you come back, or what other pages you click on. No IP address, no Google account, not even a Piwik tracker.
